DJs/About Us section:
Part of the first wave of DJs and producers in Chicago who created the sound that became known as house music in the 1970s and 1980s, the Chosen Few DJs collective was a group of popular DJs from Chicago’s south side—Wayne Williams, Jesse Saunders, Tony Hatchett, Alan King and Andre Hatchett—who played their unique brand of soulful dance music to huge crowds throughout the city. Since 1990, the group has organized the “Chosen Few Old School Reunion Picnic”, one of the largest dance music events in the world. In 2006, the group added DJ and producer Terry Hunter, and in 2012, DJ and producer Mike Dunn. In 2014, Hunter and Williams produced the GRAMMY nominated hit “It’s Your World” by Jennifer Hudson feat. R. Kelly, while their production work on “Aretha Franklin Sings the Great Diva Classics” won an NAACP Image Award
